Broomfield Overview

A strong, growing business center, Broomfield is Colorado's first master-planned community. Originally formed as an agricultural community, it grew into an industrial and commercial hotspot with large, medium, and small businesses ranging from high-tech to service industries.

Strategically located midway between Denver and Boulder along U.S. Highway 36, Broomfield offers ready access for commuters going either direction. A fast-growing center for high-tech, retail and manufacturing companies, Broomfield has attracted major corporations such as Sun Microsystems and Level 3 and developed the upscale Flatiron Crossing shopping mall. The Broomfield real estate market also offers you a wide variety of housing choices and generous open space. Anthem Colorado at Broomfield is a multi-use commercial, office, retail and town center that provides a variety of lifestyle choices in a resort-like setting for residents of all ages. Another attraction is the Broomfield Event Center, which opened in November 2006. It hosts professional sports games and exhibitions, concerts, conventions, and other public events. It's conveinently located right off Highway 36.

Broomfield offers incredible views with Pikes Peak to the South, Mount Evans to the West, and Long's Peak to the Northwest. The town is also home to safe streets and neighborhoods with a very low crime rate, exceptional school systems (Boulder Valley, Adams 12 Five Star, and Jefferson County), and 63 parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, baseball, softball, and soccer fields. Broomfield definitely embodies a hometown feel.
